Upgrading Godot Version | Mono C# in 3.x.x to GDScript in 4.5.x

Upgrading From Godot 3.x.x using Mono CSharp to Godot 4.5.x using GDScript


There are valid reasons for this upgrade, I swear!

And here’s why! | Better coverage for supported platforms.

This is a big reason for the upgrade actually!

  • Getting access to more platforms means we can actually make multiple available build versions.

    • That said, we don’t ever plan to actually support Apple products since we have only TRUE HATRED for that greedy moron named Tim Cook who has yet to get rid of the highly restrictive and suffocating business-profits-focused concept known as the “Apple Walled Garden”… if you want to know what the USA’s equiv of the Chinese Gov’s overbearing dominance over choice making of “their subjects” then look no further than this concept that Apple created…
  • More platforms also means we can venture into integrating some pretty badassly awesome features that aren’t available via the itch.io Web Embed platform!

    • Not only is this a super epic opportunity for sweet new features, but our studio head Kurochan is already pretty amped up and planning out some ideas that implement the Discord API and I think she said something about using the LootLocker API to incorporate some kinda “player account” system for making your save game data cross-platform accessible? But yeah that’s not the only awesome sounding idea she’s been chatting about around our family’s house(#1) and at the dinner table…
